Hand technique is important, but he maintains excellent base positioning.
Quick hips too, but if you can position your base in front of a players redirection every time then he's going to have to sled through you to make it downfield. Couple his great dynamic base positioning with understanding of defensive scheme for each call and that makes that level of effectiveness sustainable.

Just a few thoughts from a former corner/safety/receiver, Yewtah/BYU camp attendee, and personal defensive back coach of a D1 defensive back (my little brother--I claim all the credit). Lol
