And if BYU were to do well, Childs double-double count and athletic gifts would
get MUCH MORE exposure and he would likely go higher in the draft. If you think the NBA scouts are perfect at assessing good talent, and are not influenced by exposure and highlights, you're naive. They are! And they are also influenced a lot by politics, agendas, and many other things that have nothing to do with talent. Just ask Jimmer.

Plus, Childs needs to work A LOT on his defense before the NBA scouts will give him a whiff, certainly more than his 3 point shot, which is never going to be his forte. As it is now, even as good as think Yeoli could be, going in to the draft this year would likely land him in the same place as Mika and Bryant, and cost him millions of NBA dollars over several years going forward, IMO. Stick it out one more year, work crazy to make yourself a defensive beast, and do something special at BYU, especially with the Maui Invitational and other big names on the schedule, and you make yourself millions for doing it!
