Very sad. Friend with poorer GPA and MUCH POORER ACT got in...honestly think the main difference is friend had perfect attendance at Seminary and mine did not. When we did a college visit and met with one of the admissions counselors they mentioned % of seminary attended as a key factor. Prior to that meeting we thought it was just graduating from seminary (which requires 75% attendance I think) but the guy made clear that the higher seminary % the better...

Never imagined I'd be in this position. Kid came home from the state indoor track championship where he placed 4th in his event, told me how he had aced his AP econ and AP computer science tests today, then logs in to see that he was denied. I don't know what BYU's formula is but looking at kids in our area who got in today it makes zero sense to me...
