Advice I got when I was a senior in HS from the CEO of Black and Decker Nolan
Archibald who was in our ward (a Harvard MBA): if you want to go into business and plan to get an MBA, get a technical undergraduate degree of a field that interests you first (accounting, engineering, chemistry etc), then get 3-5 years work experience, and the go to the highest ranked/best MBA program you can get into. He advised against getting an undergraduate business degree fwiw. I have followed that path more or less for my career and now as I embark on starting my own company, I absolutely see the wisdom in that advice, especially the technical undergraduate degree (mine was engineering). Good luck. Sounds like your son has a promising future.
