With all the BYU acceptance and rejection posts I decided to look up BYU-I stuff
Here's why I'll not recommend my kids apply to BYU-Idaho:
1) No athletics. What does a college kid do when there are no sports to attend?
2) "Flip-flops and other casual footwear are inappropriate on campus. Shorts are not appropriate campus attire. No capris may be worn on campus."
If I had ties to Idaho maybe I could see attending with those two issues, but as a Utah resident who has been living out of state for the last 16 years there just doesn't seem to be much of an upside. Except tuition. Tuition is crazy cheap there.
