Met her husband there, a kid from eastern Idaho whose family owns two gas stations and a large farm. She is now an RN and loves what she does. They will at some point in time inherit the gas stations and farm. Honestly I’m not sure how her life could have turned out any better going to BYU rather than BYU-I. A nursing degree from BYU wouldn’t have taken her into any better employment than the degree she got has. She couldn’t have found a better husband from a better family at BYU than the one she found at BYU-I.
Don’t buy into all of the stuff the BYU snobs are trying to sell. BYU’s a good school but vastly more LDS people do not attend BYU than do attend it and most are successful happy people with great families and occupy all sorts of walks of life.
