The shot doesn't always keep one frome getting the flu, but it does work more often than not.
I had the worst case of the flu I've ever had about 3 years ago, even after getting the shot.
But that wouldn't convince me that it never works, or that I shouldn't rely on the shot any more.
I'll continue to get the flu shot.
