This is correct if you are looking at walk-ons and fringe roster players.
If you look at heavy contributors, it was more around 2004-05. Although, as my post below notes, there has been and continues to be 1-3 local contributors on every GU team, even through today.
The Elite 8 in 1999 followed by Sweet 16's in 2000 & 2001 jumpstarted the recruiting machine at Gonzaga. No doubt about it.
