I would expect a new grad to move multiple times in the first decade anyway. why buy a house?
if you're not moving jobs (and locations) regularly in the first decade of your employment, I think you're giving up major opportunities to move ahead and raise your salary. this fear of moving on will reverberate throughout the remainder of your career.

with that expectation, nobody should be buying a house in the early part of their career, unless they plan to keep it and rent it out after they've moved on and can make a profit doing so.
