I think we'll see this change. Assuming interest rates head higher over the next few years, it will be more
difficult for people to "trade up." A larger mortgage AND a higher interest rate will mean the cost to move up will be too much for many.

Because rates have fallen so much over the last 20 years, the appeal of a lower interest rate has played a big factor in the "move up" decision.
