Since the AAF is innovating, they should add quirks to fields like the MLB has.
Imagine that one team has end zones that are 11 yards instead of 10. That would be like center field in Minute Maid park being 436' vs. Fenway being 390'.

Another team could have an end zone with one corner that has a 45 degree angle instead of a 90 degree angle. The would make it more like the angular outfield that Arizona has vs. the gentle arc that the Dodgers have.

Or like Fenway they could make one field goal post 30 feet tall and the other goal post 5 feet tall.

It would be fun and add to some of the charm that the MLB has with their different fields.
