The MIT Technology Review published an article about the counter-intuitive effect that hipsters trying to look different
end up all looking the same.

Somebody (a hipster, presumably) contacted them angry that they used his picture without his consent in their attack on hipsters. He threatened to sue. The journal contacted the stock photo company to see what happened, and it turns out that the picture wasn't of him.

Quod Erat Demonstrandum, all hipsters look alike (so much that they can't even tell the photo is not them)
