he doesn't get fired. Too embarrassing for one of the best overall coaches at BYU to be fired!!
Criticism drives me crazy because most who do it never provide solutions.
Solutions:
1. Do not hire an in-house guy! Don't believe Quincy Lewis or Jeff Judkins are the ones.
2. Pay a high enough salary to get a quality coach, but who is the quality coach?
(Look at the Lakers right now to see if Mark Madsen would be the head coach, and I'm not convinced that is right. I don't know if the head coach at SLCC is LDS or not, but don't even know if that would satisfy me)
3. Guy needs to be able to recruit to BYU's academic requirements/restrictions.
4. Guy must recruit internationally if possible and stop getting slow white shooters but little defensive ability.
5. Defense must be a focus.
With those options we are extremely limited. The hiring pool is almost impossible!
