History is not created with an awesome road win. History and banners are made with conference championships. BYU has never finished ahead of SMC or Gonzaga. Not once.

It's obvious that the talent is there to beat SMC and Gonzaga becasue we have done it on the road and at home. This program lacks the focus to beat Pepperdine, USD, LMU, Pacific, Santa Clara, USF, and Portland.....and it is not just this group of players who can't do it. It has been a fault in the program for the last 8 years. There are two people who have been in this program for 8 years. They are the ones who should shoulder the blunt of the blame. One year is anomaly.....maybe 2 years. 8 YEARS!.....that is the current state of the program. This current trend will NEVER get us above the top 2 teams in the league. Something has to change. The players have changed over the last 8 years. It is not the players....it is the program and the people in charge.
