Current trends are not heading in the right direction:
2014 = NCAA 1st-round loss as a 10 seed
2015 = NCAA Play-in game loss as an 11 seed
2016 = NIT Semifinal loss as a 2 seed
2017 = NIT 1st-round loss as a 3 seed
2018 = NIT 1st-round loss as a 6 seed
2019 = bubble NIT team, most likely out of NIT
That is what fans can see. It does not look good to take a jump in the right direct for 2020 unless Childs stays, we get a JC/Grad transfer with size, Wade is the real deal, and we figure out a way to not blow that one or two games in the WCC that we do every year. That's a lot to hope for.
