You have flawed logic. I'm not even going to take the time to explain blow out's (which is where I think you are trying to go) ...

I thought BYU had high academic standards. Maybe they aren't teaching Logic and Critical thinking anymore. And/or maybe you didn't attend BYU.  Either way, I apologize to any BYU grads in advance, if I lumped your flawed thinking in with the entire history of BYU academics ...  sheesh.
