hits to the program. I do wonder how much sway Dave Rose had on those specific things. Because if those things didnt happen I think we would be a bubble tournament team right now. Emery was on track to be a better player than he is right now. Bryant was a dang good scorer for BYU standards. Mika was one of the best posts we've ever had.

On the court I do not look at our team and think we are a well coached team. At times i get the opposite impression. Maybe on some inbounds plays i think wow that was good coaching over the past few years. I felt with Schroyer in there the coaching and the discipline seemed better. So I do think maybe some blame has to go on the quality of assistant coaches. Is that Dave Rose's fault? Maybe. I think Rose is a good head coach and that we will miss him when he is gone and that we do have to be careful what we wish for. But i think hes earned the right to get another year. But the program should look long and hard at bringing a better assistant in to lighten the load.
