If you live in the USA and are staying here permanently you shouldn't be

cheering for the country you came from. You can enjoy the many wonderful things America offers, that's why they came but it must include a sacrifice of past soccer allegiances. You must take the good with the hard, or in my view the good with the good. Hopefully someday great.

If you pledge allegiance to the US, her national team comes along with it!
