I was on a SWA flight when they came on and offered $100 to get off. Crickets.
Then they offered $200... a little murmur.
From the middle of the plane, I said loudly "if we all work together, we can get this to $500 for someone". Laughter.
$300? silence
$400? a few people started glancing around.
$500? A couple of hands went up.
If I recall, I think this was on a $59 OAK to ONT flight. The best use of unions.
