and developed them into a strong, competitive unit.  BYU has taken a bunch of 4-stars and can't get them to compete consistently.  BYU will always have the fan base and the history, but as long as Mark Pope is coach at UVU, they will continue to rise.  Yep, a former junior college who many consider a "little brother" is well-respected nationally, thus the potential NIT bid.  BYU will come back strong, but it doesn't change the fact that UVU is super impressive and on the national radar right now and for the foreseeable future.
