I bought 4 tickets off the ticketmaster website. I found 2 and then 2 immediately behind, but they were resales from two different ticket owners. I quickly bought the first set of two, but when I went back the second set were gone. So, I had to buy two others about 6 seats away.

I show up to the arena and ask if we can be seated together somewhere, even offering to move higher up to worse seats within the section. She refused, so we sat separately. I sat with my 9 yo daughter, and my 11 and 13 yo sons sat together, separately.

I get that the seat is for that spot. But I picked a Monday game on purpose and there were literally thousands of unsold seats, to include at least 50 contiguous unsold seats immediately behind me. Of course we could have moved to another section, but they were clamping down last night for some reason.

Was I wrong to ask for some relief?

Just a weird vibe.
