1. Jaron Hall should be very good. Like Zach, he seems to have “it”—the poise, confidence, and ability to make plays. Our success has always started at QB and really like what appears to be the future with Zach and Jalen.

2. Was pleasantly surprised with the fullbacks. Macfarland and Griffiths look the part: big, agile, and aggressive. Also liked how much they were targeted in the pass game. May just be Spring fill ins for injured TEs, but they looked the part.

3. Gunner Romney looks like he could be pretty special. Hard not to think of Austin Collie with how he looks on the field.

4. Was also pleasantly surprised with new LBs: J Kaufusi, m tooley, k pili, etc. tough, fast, interchangeable. Also have to give Matt Criddle some kudos. He had a tough game against Utah, but was nice to see him get so quickly to the ball and go all out in his tackles.

5. I think the optimism along the offensive line is warranted at least as it relates to depth and cohesiveness. Can’t remember watching a third string BYU line that physically looked so much like the first string.

6. Plenty of questions marks in other areas based on who was available to play yesterday.
