country and they all revolve around one thing - alchohol. For the most part, BYU fans don’t drink and therefore tailgating will never “catch” on. Not many sober people are going to get together hours before the game to eat nachos and play corn hole (yes so do but majority don’t have an interest in that). In summary, there is exactly zero reason why BYU would have a rapid tailgating scene - as a fan, I’m completely fine with that. Lisa’s experience has been at the University of Utah and there tailgating is fueled by alcohol (as is every other tailgate in america). Not happening at BYU and she shouldn’t waste her time promoting it.
