There are such cool traditions out there for CFB.
But I get the feeling that we would sooner just copy an easy one than create one ourselves. Or just do nothing but listen to our awesome band play. The fireworks were good (not original). I’m...not coming up with anything else. It’s boring.

It’s those pregame traditions that make college football the cool thing that it is:

Script Ohio

War eagle

Chief Osceola

Sooner schooner

Virginia tech entrance

Army/navy march in

The Irish guard

The Ramblin wreck

Ralphie

Bring the hammer

The Grove

USC Trojan sword

12th man

Jump around

Sure, winning does cure a lot of things. But I have thought that the game day experience has been lacking for a long time. I can’t believe we can’t come up with something original and fun. I took some family to a game andvtho we won, it was boring. I was sort of embarrassed. Maybe I just hadn’t noticed. But it has gotten comparatively boring.

Come on folks. It’s 2019. You either up your game or people will find something else to do. Recognition is the first step in recovery.

PS—don’t steal other team’s things—Utah....next thing you know they will have a big rock everyone will touch from Death Valley and a turnover chain that would make Flav blush
