The good:
1. He played under Majerus and would hopefully bring his X’s and O’s and defense ideas.
2. He coaches with one of the great minds in the NBA - Quin Snyder. Again, bring X’s and O’s and defense ideas.
3. He played over seas which would hopefully have given him contacts and an open mind to developing a pipeline over there.
4. He would be actively working to improve his players.
The bad:
1. I don’t know how much it would cost to get him or if he would be interested.
2. I don’t know much about him as a coach. Is he a good coach to play for and can he keep his players in line.
3. He doesn’t know the BYU recruiting environment and how to deal with it.
I would rather have a Majerus and Snyder disciple than Rose 2.0. To break through from the great place Rose has taken us to we need to do things differently.
