He was given too much credit for his freshman season and then too much blame afterwards. His OL and WR were dramatically worse in his SO season than his FR season, and his QBR in his freshman season wasn't very good against good teams. He got a lot of credit for two hail mary passes. If either of those gets dropped, he's considered an okay backup QB who might be good as an upperclassman. But instead he's considered a superstar who should be starting over a healthy Taysom, and his results don't match the expectations.
