1. Utah is in it's golden age for football. It won't last.
2. Utah won the lottery and got into the PAC12. More money and prestige than BYU...right now. Enjoy
3. Utah has beat BYU for as long as some younger fans can remember. That will end too.
4. Kalani almost killed the program by going 4-9. Seriously major set back. Should have been fired, set back. Seems to have rebounded, TBD.
5. Utah has a smaller stadium. Fact. You shrink LES down to that size and raise ticket prices you are only going to get true fans. More energy because they are more invested.
6. Bring back throwing tortillas.
7. This is football, not the NBA where you need flashy lights and constant bombardment of sensory overload. Before you know it people will complain that fans should pay more attention to the game and players.
8. If Utah was in the same spot as BYU they would be in a much worse condition. Much worse.
9. BYU is improving the game day experience. IMO, it gets better every year.

BIGGEST FACTOR IS WIN. Not only win but care about winning. The character of the program has been suffering for years because players and coaches thought you just show up and play. Or, they just gave up when it got tough. Or, they aren't playing the right teams. No heart. Then they start blaming the fans and wishing they would play more away games. Weak, weak, weak. I want players who would love to play in front of no one. NO ONE. That is how much they love the game. Fans are a bonus in their mind.

I know fans have an impact on the game and I love being fan but don't pin crappy coaching, lack of focus, and effort on the fans.
