The macho mentality is so bad that even after the match was complete, instead of getting medical attention, Hakuho just had an attendant rubbing his arm with a bag of ice while he completed the winner's ceremony.

This isn't just a Hakuho mentality, it's a sumo mentality which causes me to fear for his long-term health. He is the most dominant sumo wrestler in the history or the sport and he has nothing left to prove, so I am hoping he takes a few tournaments off to have surgery and proper rehabilitation.
