In every season there are at least five teams who are straight up tanking. They put a product on the floor that is incapable of winning and hope to get a high pick.

If NBA GMs are so sure that Jimmer isn’t an NBA player and can’t play at this level then why not sign a guy like him when you are terrible and trying to tank? Say what you will about Jimmer but he is still a household name and brings 10x more excitement than any other player on the worst NBA teams.

What do you have to lose? Turn over your offense to him and let him do his thing. If he can’t play then you will get what you want and lose games. If he can and is scoring like Jimmer does then you get excitement and eyeballs on your team while probably still losing a bunch of games.

How every team in the league thinks they are better than Jimmer is just beyond me.
