He received a great warm welcome. Totally appropriate. But man, it got so weird as the game went on. The loudest cheer of the night was when Jimmer made a free throw. Think about that. It was weird.
Every time he touched the ball, the crowd was cheering and not normal cheering but obnoxious loud cheering with about 50 -60 people yelling “shoot it!”!
I honestly felt bad for Jimmer because it didn’t feel like he was one of the professionals on the court. It felt like he was a kid invited to play with the pro athletes. Which I know is really what it is but Jimmer doesn’t want to feel that way. I’m sure he doesn’t want to be a sideshow anymore. It was way too much. I’ll just put it that way. It felt like way too much.
