1. I didn’t cringe once. I just enjoyed watching him play.

2. I was surprised how pro-Jimmer the crowd was but glad they didn’t boo. He might have played better if they booed though

3. I went to an Eagles preseason game a few years ago when Tebow was the 3rd or 4th QB and everyone knew he would be cut in a few weeks. By the end of the first half, everyone was chanting for Tebow. My wife and I ended up leaving before he came in the game (because we forgot sunscreen and were burnt to a crisp) but we were in the car when we heard the huge roar when Tebow came in. So I don’t think it’s a unique thing. There are certain athletes that basically everyone roots for and Jimmer and Tebow are on that short list
