The big cinderella story has been Grand Canyon University.  Grand Canyon went through 7 rounds and upset the Stanford Tree, Oregon Duck, and the Virginia Tech Hokie.

Now in the championship after 10,000 plus votes so far they are in a statistical tie with Arizona. voting ends at around 6pm mountain time.

its hilarious to watch both schools  go after each other over this.   The main instagram for both universities plus athletics instagrams, mascots, frats, you name it are trying to get the victory.  lots of smack talk and also get out the vote stuff going on.

Our cosmo got upset by Miss State in round 3.  Utes had a big get out the vote effort led by swoop and made it to the elite 8 before Arizona took em out.

Utah State, Weber State, and UVU got eliminated in the first round. 

G5 school fans seem to be rallying to Grand Canyon ('we are all grand canyon today')

This was a fun promotion i came up with that has created hundreds of thousands of votes over 2 and half weeks and only cost me $10 for the bracket site.

i have no idea what the heck the winning school would get.  havent thought about that until now...   i probably should.
