I see. Think adopting a dog is great idea, and donate to a local Samoyed shelter that does great work.

We're planning to get a dog soon, and will be adopting one.

I have no issue with choosing to buy from an ethical breeder. It's often the only option if you're looking for a specific breed. But even if it isn't the only option, I don't think anybody should be shamed into adopting just because other people's circumstances changed (or were irresponsible owners) and had to give up their dogs.
