The Oline is a huge concern for the reasons listed, but the defense should be better overall. Leki Fotu and Anae both could have left early but are returning, the other dline starters are a year more experienced. The LB core lost Hansen but Bernard is back and the Senior LB transfer from Penn St. will start. Utah's best Corner Back returns and is a top 3 round pick.
Game 1 is tricky. One thing that I think most Utah fans are forgetting about is that Utah historically starts soft in their first game of the year, which is why they like starting with SUU or Weber or whatever. BYU, on the other hand, is used to playing tougher teams in game 1 and historically plays pretty tough having beaten Arizona a couple of times, WSU, and other Pac teams. I also think Wilson is more of a gamer than any BYU QB of late.
It's too cliche to even mention, but "throw out the record books." I'm predicting a tight, tough game.
