I am pretty bummed out that Madsen was chosen at UVU. I was really hoping he
would have joined Pope's staff at BYU. In fact, I was hoping that he was going to be chosen as the head coach before Pope was selected.
He is a great basketball mind that is hungry to be successful and excel in the profession. I am happy with Pope, I think he can be very successful, but adding Madsen to the staff would have been my #1 priority if I were him. Obviously that is not going to happen now.
