I love his enthusiasm but beyond that he is an unknown coaching entity IMO. It would have been a big gamble giving him the keys to the program at BYU. It may have worked out great but it was too risky. With Pope we have a better idea of what we are getting.

If Madsen passes the test at UVU and proves his value as a head coach then he becomes our next target.
