Some of the changes were expected, some were not.

• My son is getting his mission call this month (arrived today), which was expected
• Was laid off last month, which was completely unexpected
• Got a new job in SLC, and will be starting in a couple of weeks. This is somewhat unexpected - I had worked it out with my employer to split time between Houston and Salt Lake, but the layoff threw a kink into that picture.
• House will be going on the market soon. This one is a bit unexpected as well...we had already planned on downsizing this summer after my son leaves on his mission, but the job change has pushed this up by a few months.
• Had planned to get Astros season tickets and Rockets season tickets...those plans are now cancelled.
