We had a pretty good hail storm roll through here last weekend, and we got some that was just a bit larger than a golf ball. There are lots of roofers out knocking doors in my neighborhood right now, trying to make sales. One guy got up on my roof and found a bunch of soft black spots where the hail impacted. I've never had to replace a roof before and feel a bit out of my element on this, knowing what to look for in a roofer. What should I ask? What should I be looking for?
