When I went to BB games in the MC with my Japanese BIL...
He'd turn to me, smile and ask if I wanted to get on the big scoreboard screen. He said, "they love minorities. Watch!"
He'd stand up and cheer. Like flies to light, TV cameras zoomed in and he was immediately on the big screen. Worked every time we went to games.
