unnecessary hurdles to prevent the transfer from happening. Do you think this would even be an issue if he chose Florida State instead of us? No. They offer, he accepts and enrolls. No problem at all.

Do you think the school put up any hurdles for Jalen Hurts when he transferred to OU? Not a chance in hades.

Literally zero of this falls on Ty'son's shoulders - except for accepting an offer to transfer to an institution that wants to pretend it's Harvard.
