No offense, but I played several years of junior hockey and several years of college hockey and I have never seen that called a penalty let alone a major.
The refs never called it when it happened, they saw Pavelski on the ice and they figured it must have been a bad hit. The stick did not even hit him in the head, he was hit in the chest and not hard enough to call a penalty.
Like I said, I have seen a million guys do what Eakin did and never get called.
Total joke and the NHL should be embarassed.
Just like the NFL and the Saints.
