I went with Bose. I asked same question a while ago.

However, if price is important I got some other good suggestions (see link).

I've been very happy with the Bose a few months later.

Bose. QC15 or newer. You can get very good quality used Bose headphones on Amazon or Ebay.

Another vote for Bose QC35s. You won't beat them for NC or comfort.
