Haven't measured it, but I've never run out of battery. And if I ever do on a flight, it's easy to recharge them on a plane using an USB outlet or my computer.

Bose. QC15 or newer. You can get very good quality used Bose headphones on Amazon or Ebay.

Another vote for Bose QC35s. You won't beat them for NC or comfort.
