I have always called it the Cathedral as well, but I thought I had just sort of dubbed it that myself. Perhaps someone told me it was named that and I hadn't even been conscious of it. What a beautiful area. Swimming in the flood pools was one of my favorite parts. I can only imagine what that area would like with water coming over the top of the "Cathedral."

Next year we are going to hike into Egypt with pack rafts and sail down to the confluence and then hike out of Crack in the Wall. I'm pretty stoked.
