The Most Interesting Man in the World
Years ago I worked for a consulting firm (Bain & Company) in Dallas, TX. 6 of us shared a large open office space and amongst them was a guy by the name of Victor Vescovo. He was probably the smartest person I ever met. He had degrees from Stanford (Bachelors: Economics & Poli Sci), MIT (Masters: Poli Sci) and Harvard (MBA). He was a Naval Intelligence Officer, and, amongst other accomplishments there, had been an instructor at Top Gun. He has summited the highest peak in all 7 continents, skied to both the North and South poles, and has been to the floor of each of the world's oceans. On top of that, he can pilot fixed wing aircraft, helicopters and submarines.

Today, I ran across this article about him as he became the world record holder for attaining the highest height (Everest) and lowest depth (Marianas Trench) by any human.

I think I can honestly say that I actually know the "Most Interesting Man in the World".
