Well, you're right that it's possible, but I think that relatively few actually
do return to college and finish their degrees after leaving school early. I don't know the exact numbers, but I think it's a fairly small percentage, so it seems there is something about it that is easier said than done.

So that's where this argument comes from. If you have been enrolled in college for the past 3 years, and have friends and teammates at the university, and a bunch of momentum going towards your degree, it's gonna much, MUCH, easier to finish that degree.

Whereas a guy who leaves school and plays pro ball in Europe for 2-3 seasons is gonna have much more difficulty making that happen. I totally agree that it is possible, but definitely not a slam dunk (no pun intended).
