There are certainly applications where a gas power washer is the best tool.
These electric ones have a purpose. Washing cars is a great one, and just general cleaning where you want a little more than you would get with a hose/nozzle situation.

How many PSI is enough for a pressure washer?

Wash it, or strip it clean? It seems like the standard for higher end home systems is ~3,000 psi and 2.5 gpm.

I don't plan to strip anything, just power wash years of dirt and grime.

Electric ones are usually worthless. 2600 psi is the bare minimum to be useful.

I haven't had good luck with electric pressure washers. Costco has a gas one

$250 for that is a steal.

I have the Power stroke, but it was when they had the Honda 350 engines. Works great.
