Lawncare gurus - when is it okay to mow after overseeding?
I seem to be reading different things online.
I overseeded (Kentucky bluegrass) a little over two weeks ago, and I'm not seeing anything poking out yet. At this point the rest of my lawn is pretty dang long, and if I'm supposed to wait until the new grass is 3-3.5" before I mow, the rest of my lawn will be like 12" or more by that point.
So it is it okay to mow now before the new grass comes in?
