I think BYU makes it to a regional without winning the WCC tournament
BYU currently has an RPI of 31. In last year's tournament, only one team with an RPI less than 45 was left out (Kentucky had a 31 - not sure the story there - maybe it was because the SEC already had 10 teams in). I had previously thought the WCC was a one-bid league, but BYU has really improved its RPI to the point where it is a virtual lock now.
