I grew up in the Bay Area and was an A's/Raider's fan, not a Giants/49ers fan, but my uncle who is only 6 years older than I am played for the Dodger's in the late 70's and early 80's and so I've been a Dodger's fan ever since then and am more of a Dodger's fan than an A's fan. But as long as they aren't playing each other I will always root for the A's.
